HOW TO REACH LAKE COMO

Plane
The nearest main airport, where we suggest you to land is Milano Malpensa MXP, and the drive to reach Lake Como lasts about 45 minutes.

Other smaller airports in the area include:
- Milano Linate (1 hour drive)
- Bergamo Orio al Serio (1.5 hours drive)

Train
The closest train stop is Como San Giovanni which is served from Milano Centrale Train Station. From there, you can reach the town of Cernobbio by taxi.

Car rental
There are various car hire options at the main airports located in Milan. We suggest looking at the following websites if you would like to hire a car and drive to Lake Como on your own: Malpensa Airport, Milano Linate Airport, Bergamo Airport.

Villa del Balbianello
Located on a wooded promontory on Como Lake.
